Hey there! I’m Tim, a couples and family portrait photographer based in Montreal.

I have a passion for capturing life’s most meaningful moments. Behind every great photo there are people with a story, and I’d love to share mine with you—so settle in and let’s get to know each other!

My Photography Journey

My love for photography began in high school, where my dad’s film SLR became my constant companion. Every spare penny went into film and prints, and my camera quickly became a staple in my life. I even snagged a few paid gigs and a second-place finish in a local photo competition.

University saw my camera gathering dust, but during the COVID lockdown, I rediscovered my passion. This time, I turned that love into a career, studying commercial photography at Dawson College. Now, I’m living my dream and ready to capture yours.

Meet Tim

  • Pet Person: Dogs are my weakness, and I’ll likely spend a good portion of our session giving your furry friend some love. Cats, too—I can’t resist stopping to offer them a little affection. Your pets are part of your family, and I cherish capturing their unique personalities in photos.

  • Hometown Heart: Indiana roots run deep, but Montreal has captured my heart in ways I never expected. I’m lucky to experience the best of both worlds. This blend of small-town charm and vibrant city life enriches my photography with diverse perspectives.

  • Spiritual Seeker: Candles, incense, and a sprinkle of serenity keep my creativity flowing. Raised Anabaptist, I hold fast to the belief that love truly conquers all. My approach to photography is grounded in tranquility and genuine emotion, ensuring your photos are as heartfelt as they are beautiful.

  • Dual Citizen: I proudly wave both Canadian and American flags, celebrating the richness of being a citizen of two amazing countries. No matter what side of the border we’re on, I’m good to go!

  • Wine & Conversation: There’s nothing better than sharing a glass of wine and a good chat. Let’s create memories and toast to new experiences. I believe great photos start with great conversations, and I look forward to getting to know you.

  • Bilingual: English is my first language, and as a Montrealer, of course I speak French. You’ll notice my thick accent and a few stutters — It's all part of the charm. ;) Whether in English or French, I aim to make every interaction enjoyable and engaging, making sure we have a comfortable and relaxed shoot.
